Dear Careers Division Members,
This is to remind you that AOM submissions are due January 15, 2013. As your Program Chair, I am looking forward to receiving your submissions and a fantastic conference next August in Orlando. Please remember to submit your work to the Careers Division - your PDWs, papers, and symposiums. Every year the Careers Division program gets better - and this is due to your hard work and dedication - thank you!!
These are some important reminders to make sure your work is considered for inclusion in the 2013 AOM conference and is sent out for review:
First, if you are submitting a paper or symposium to the 2013 Academy of Management meetings, please refer to the AOM submission checklist to make sure your submission is complete and follows all Academy guidelines. These can be found at: http://aom.org/annualmeeting/submission/scholarly/guidelines/
** Please note that submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be reviewed.**
In particular, I'd like to draw your attention to the following submission requirements:
1. Your manuscript must be finalized in the electronic submission system. We can only check in submissions that have been finalized. If you do not receive a confirmation email by January 16th, please go back to the website and make sure that your paper or submission has been finalized and meets the submission guidelines. During this week emails will begin to be sent out. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns.
2. Paper submissions are blind-reviewed. Therefore, please make sure author identifying information is not included in your paper submission.
3. The length of your uploaded paper submission must be no more than 40 pages.
4. You must include the 5-digit identification number (provided by the online system at the time of submission) in the header of your paper or symposium submission.
5. For paper and symposium submissions, the entire document must be double-spaced, including title page, abstract, body text, and references, using Times New Roman 12 pt font.
Please try to submit your papers, symposiums and PDWs several days prior to the January 15 deadline since the AOM system will be very busy that day and it will allow you time to make changes to your submission in case you have not followed all of the AOM guidelines.
Regarding PDW submissions, if you have any questions please contact our PDW Chair Monique Valcour at Monique.VALCOUR@edhec.edu
Thank you for submitting your work to the Careers Division!
