To further enhance our academic base, we are making a strategic investment in recruiting University of Bath Prize Fellows. This is an opportunity for an outstanding researcher to develop their academic career in a supportive and well-resourced research environment.
In the School of Management we will appoint a prize fellow to further strengthen and develop areas of existing research excellence.
The University of Bath
The University of Bath has an impressive reputation as one of the UK's leading universities and is currently ranked third in the UK, second only to Oxbridge (Sunday Times, 2012). In the Sunday Times University Guide for 2013 the undergraduate programmes were ranked 1st for Business in the UK. In the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), the School of Management was ranked 5th in the UK for management research.
In the area of Human Resource Management we invite applications in all areas of Human Resource Management. We are seeking to build upon our existing research programmes in employee attitudes and behaviours, international human resource management and professional services firms. You will be expected to pursue an independent programme of research, including publishing in top quality journals and applying for external research grants.
The initial appointment will be to a fixed-term Research Fellow post with the expectation of transfer to a permanent lectureship at the end of year two, or exceptionally at the end of year three.
You should upload a CV and a 2-page outline of their research plans over the next 3-5 years, showing how these complement and enhance existing research within the relevant area.
