Dear career scholars and educators,
A question for the community: Do you know of any good readings for senior undergraduates that summarize what we know scientifically about careers. There's lots of good articles on how to manage one's own career... and lots of good articles for scholars reviewing what is known.
But I'm struggling to find an evidence-based article that summarizes the careers for a smart lay audience. Some of the concepts it would be nice to cover are: career ladders, career latices, internal labor markets / tournament models, career transitions / job hopping, expertise, mentoring, etc.
Any suggestions?
