Hi, would you please help me share this with all members of the Career Network? Thank you so much!

Dear Colleagues,
As an Asian member of the Academy of Management community, have you ever wanted to get feedback on a research idea from your colleagues, but been too afraid to speak up? Have you wondered how some scholars are able to write and publish their ideas in the most elegant manner? Have you pondered where you would lead your academic career as faculty member? And, are you ready to be inspired by listening to world-class scholars share their research journey with you, and to inspire others with yours?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions, the following Professional Development Workshop (PDW), one of the three All-Academy Theme PDWs at AOM2011 this year, may be right for you.
The PDW, titled "When West Meets East: Challenges and Adjustment Issues for Asian Members of the Academy" (Sunday, August 14th, 2011 11:30am – 1:30pm), will include presentation and roundtable discussion on what are the challenging aspects as an Asian management scholar. The PDW will also provide a unique opportunity for participants to foster relationships with other scholars in the field, and to build a community to help each other thrive. Overall, the PDW will last for 2 hours.
I am extremely pleased that the following scholars have agreed to participate:
Cultural Issue: Hui Liao & Mooweon Rhee
Linguistic Issue: Michael Jensen & Dean Tjosvold
Institutional Issue: Xiao-Ping Chen & Myeong-Gu Seo
Career Issue: Riki Takeuchi & Dong Liu
Final Words: Jing Zhou & Ya-Ru Chen
To learn more about the PDW, please visit http://program.aomonline.org/2011/Session_Details.asp?print=true&SubmissionID=11038. The approval code for the PDW session is: 8t3a0a11. Refreshments will be provided.
Thank you, and I hope to see you at AOM2011!
Sincerely Yours,
