    Dear Colleagues,

We would like to remind you that there is still place to register for our Career Case Writing PDW and join us on Friday 1-4pm Session #10229, Pennsylvania Convention Center (Room 106 A&B).

Career case studies are potentially a very valuable tool for gaining insight into careers, both in research and in teaching, but that our discipline has not reached anything like its full potential in writing and using cases.

This workshop will provide opportunities to understand the casewriting and research/education processes better, while simultaneously producing, interpreting, and hopefully subsequently publishing, a good set of cases written by, and distributed to, workshop participants. In the traditions of the Careers Division, we also hope to have a good time together and to foster collaborative links.

Pre-registration is necessary for this Workshop, as we ask you to do some preliminary work by writing up a unique case of your own (not more than 1000 words) for subsequent discussion and refinement of the Workshop. Our team of facilitators (Michael Arthur and Susan Adams) will assist in the Workshop. Attendance is limited to twenty participants, so if you are interested in this unique opportunity, please ensure your involvement by pre-registering NOW and contacting one of us by e-mail:

    jelenaz@yorku.ca <mailto:jelenaz@yorku.ca> and KInkson@business.otago.ac.nz

We look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia.

    Best wishes,
    Kerr Inkson and Jelena Zikic.
