Dear Colleagues-especially Doctoral Students and New Faculty members,
The Management, Spirituality and Religion Interest Group wants to offer one last reminder that the MSR Doctoral Student and New Faculty Consortium will be offered again this year-over a 2-day period.
We have endeavored to make this year's consortium a particularly "personal" meeting by structuring it to allow for much one-on-one and small group interaction. Topics traditionally found to be relevant and helpful will continue. These include a presentation by André Delbecq focused on strategies for conducting spirituality research.
We are also particularly pleased to announce and introduce our Keynote Speaker. John Huntington has led a widely varied and fascinating life-at least so far! His broad range of experience from industry-academia-and the clergy provides the basis for an informed and broad perspective. I'll leave more of that for him to tell. It is enough to say that his talk, Spirituality, Religion and Ecology: Management Implications, promises to be particularly relevant and thought provoking. Our program is designed to delve more deeply into his talk in less formal settings afterward.
Registration for the Consortium after the AOM imposed deadline (10 July) must be done directly by contacting Jel Hampton at jhampson@pace.edu . We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
I we can answer any questions about the consortium, please do not hesitate to contact myself or Kay Rudisill, PHD, at kay.rudisill@oracle.com.
