I am pleased to announce Incoming Editors of Career Development
International (CDI):
I. M. “Jim” Jawahar (Illinois State University, USA;
jimoham@ilstu.edu )
and Hetty van Emmerik (Utrecht University, Netherlands;
h.vanemmerik@uu.nl ).
CDI is an international, inter-disciplinary journal devoted to publishing
quality feature articles and short research notes on a variety of topics
related to careers and human resource development. Submissions may be
international in content, relating, for example to comparative analyses of
careers and development across national boundaries, or dealing with
inherently “international” issues such as expatriation. The journal
publishes articles dealing with psychological and developmental aspects of
individual careers, career interventions, government policy and practices,
human resource planning and recruitment, international themes and issues
(MNCs, expatriation, etc.), organizational strategies and systems,
performance management and work and occupational contexts.
Career Development International is published by Emerald Publishers and is
included in many indexing and abstracting services including PsycINFO and
Scopus. Information about the journal, such as journal overview, table of
contents, editorial team, and author guidelines are available at
http://www.emeraldinsight.com/info/journals/edi.jsp.
