    Greetings colleagues,

Please see the following invitation to submit proposals for sessions in our conference on Workplace Diversity: Practice & Research. Even if you are not interested in presenting, I hope you will consider joining us if you are interested in diversity. This year's theme is Changing Organizational Cultures to Increase Diversity, Inclusion, and Performance. You can learn more about the conference at http://som.gmu.edu/diversity.

Finally, I would be grateful if you would forward this message to any listserves or individuals you believe might be interested.

    Best,
    David

We cordially invite you to propose a session for presentation at the fourth annual Workplace Diversity: Practice & Research conference, hosted by the School of Management at George Mason University, to be held June 10-11, 2010 at the Arlington Hilton in Arlington, Virginia.

To download the 2010 Workplace Diversity: Practice & Research RFP, which provides submission details, click here.

The purpose of this conference is to bridge the research-practice gap in the area of diversity management. As in past years, we expect conference participants to include academics and diversity professionals from consulting and corporate firms and government agencies. The theme of the 2010 conference is Changing Organizational Cultures to Increase Diversity, Inclusion, and Performance.

The conference's advisory council will review proposals. Selection will be based on

    (a) fit of the session to the conference theme
    (b) anticipated interest of the session to stakeholder groups
    (c) whether the 90-minute session provides ample opportunity for participant involvement
    (d) scholarly and practical expertise of the presentation team

To download the 2010 Workplace Diversity: Practice & Research RFP, which provides submission details, click here.

For more information about the conference and the submission process, please visit the conference website at som.gmu.edu/diversity. Please submit your proposals before FEBRUARY 1, 2010. Should you require further information, do not hesitate to contact me.
