    Dear Career "Netters"

This is to let you know that a website to support our teaching about careers has recently been established. The website consists of pilot recommendations about case studies, books, films, videos, articles, humor etc. that we may wish to recommend to one another for our teaching.

A small group of volunteers helped to launch the website, which was the focus of a pre-conference workshop at the Academy of Management 2010 meeting in Montreal. With their encouragement, I am now writing to invite you to join our "Career Studies Teaching Community." If you would lie to do so, simply "Reply All" to this message to let us know. My graduate assistant," Gnaman Traore, will be in touch to provide you with a user name and password. Once you have heard from Gnaman you will be able to login and review the site, as well as post new recommendations to it.

The volunteers who have helped launch the website are Silvia Bagdadli, Loic Cadin, Tania Casado, Suzanne De Janasz, Peter Heslin, Svetlana Khapova, Konstantin Korotov, Wolfgang Mayrhofer, Polly Parker, Maury Peiperl, Julia Richardson, Holly Slay, Silviya Svejenova, Hetty Van Emmerik and Jelena Zikic. Thanks all around for their support!

Here's looking forward to hearing from you and to receiving your feedback on the website in due course.

    All best wishes,

    Michael Arthur
