  • 1.  Reminder of AOM Submission Requirements

    Posted 01-08-2012 19:41

    Dear Colleague

If you are submitting a paper or symposium to the Careers Division scholarly program for the 2012 Academy of Management meeting, please refer closely to the submission checklist http://meeting.aomonline.org/2012/menu-program/menu-sub/78-cfs/scholarly-program/75-cfs-scholarly-prog to help you keep track of your submission and ensure that it's complete and follows all Academy guidelines.

I'd particularly  like to draw your attention to the following submission requirements:

    1. Your manuscript must be finalized in the electronic submission system. We can only check in submissions that have been finalized. If you believe you have submitted a finalized paper or symposium, but did not receive a confirmation email within a few days from me, Peter Heslin (heslin@unsw.edu.au), please go back to the website and make sure that your submission has been finalized and meets the submission guidelines.

    2. Paper submissions are blind-reviewed. Therefore, you must not include any author identifying information or include acknowledgements to other contributors to your submission.

    3. The length of your uploaded paper submission must be no more than 40 pages.

    4. The entire document must be must be double-spaced, including title page, abstract, main body text, figures, graphs, and references.

    5. You must include the 5-digit identification number (provided by the online system at the time of submission) in the header of the paper.

Please note the AoM rules are that submissions not meeting all the guidelines will not be checked in and sent out for review.

I hope these reminders are helpful and thank you for submitting your work to the CAR Division!

    Sincerely,

    Peter Heslin
    Program Chair, Careers Division
