The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) at UNC-Chapel Hill (http://cfe.unc.edu), a pan-university faculty development center, is searching for a new Leadership Coordinator effective July 2015.

Through the work of its Leadership Coordinator, the CFE extends and improves the opportunities for faculty members across the campus to prepare themselves for and carry out leadership roles during their academic careers.
The Leadership Coordinator contributes to four areas of activity at the CFE:
(1) designing, delivering, evaluating, and improving programming for faculty leadership development;
(2) delivering, evaluating, and improving programming for mentoring faculty and faculty career development;
(3) developing and disseminating information about effective faculty leadership and effective faculty mentoring and career development;
(4) consulting with faculty leaders and units on campus to assist them in solving problems or realizing opportunities related to their academic mission.
Master’s degree required. Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, Public Administration or related field preferred. At least three years of work experience in leadership development is required. Significant experience in leadership development with faculty in a university setting is strongly preferred.
