    Colleagues,

With apologies for cross-postings, we would like to bring to your attention a Special Issue of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology (EJWOP) on Experiencing Fit and Misfit that we are guest editing.

The Call for Papers is on EJWOP's website (http://explore.tandfonline.com/cfp/beh/pewo-si-experiencing-fit-and-misfit/) and the important submission date is May 7, 2017, so there is still time to plan, develop, and write a contribution.

We have two sessions related to this Special Issue at this year's Academy of Management annual meeting.

    1. If you want to find out more about the Special Issue, meet us, the guest editors, and discuss possible ideas, please come along to this PDW:

Conducting Meaningful Research into the Experience of PE and Perceived Fit: An Incubator

    Session Type: PDW Workshop
    Program Session: 94 | Submission: 15207 | Sponsor(s): (OB, CAR)
    Friday, Aug 5 2016 11:45AM - 1:45PM at Anaheim Convention Center in 211B

    2. If you want to hear some of the latest research in the field of fit and misfit, come along to this symposium:

Making Perceived Fit Meaningful: Perspectives on the Process of Fitting In

    Session Type: Symposium
    Program Session: 2085 | Submission: 11820 | Sponsor(s): (OB, HR, MOC)
    Tuesday, Aug 9 2016 3:00PM - 4:30PM at Anaheim Convention Center in 201A

We'd love to see you at one or both of these events. And if you can't make it and want to know more, please don't hesitate to contact any of the guest editors.

In addition, there will be an e-conference largely dedicated to this Special Issue in November 2016 (submission date October 1, 2016). You can find out more about the 5th Global e-Conference on Fit at http://www.conference.fit/.
