The department of Management and Organization of VU University Amsterdam has a vacancy for a PhD researcher on the project "From VU to Work – Building Theory and Curriculum in the Transition from University to Work". The PhD project aims to bring together the literature from different disciplines and to create an integrative theoretical framework of factors predicting a successful transition from university to work. In addition, the project also has a clear practical element, to which both the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEWEB) and the Postgraduate Accounting program of VU University Amsterdam are closely connected. The PhD candidate will work in a network consisting of VU University, the Postgraduate Accounting program, and several large consultancy firms on the Amsterdam Zuidas. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented candidate who is both passionate about academic research, and aspires to improve the practice of higher education. The position involves a 4-year (temporary) appointment with the VU University Amsterdam. Place of employment will be at the VU University Campus near the Zuidas.
