Dear colleagues,
First, let me introduce myself as a new member of the careers
division. My name is Kristen Shockley, and I am a doctoral student
studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of
South Florida.
Second, I am writing to request your input as experts in career
research. My colleagues and I are in the process of developing a new,
more comprehensive measure of subjective career success. Based on
content analysis of qualitative interviews, we have identified and
defined 9 dimensions of subjective career success. Before proceeding
to the next phase of the scale development we would like subject
matter expert input on the relevance and definitions of these
dimensions.
