I've made a career move and will soon be expecting an increased workload, therefore I'm hoping to retire from the position as Careers Division Web Chair. My HTML skills are only moderate so there is plenty of opportunity for an interested individual to make significant developmental changes to our current pages.
Our current materials are hosted at the Academy of Management server. I've created the current pages using Front Page and I can forward all documents to the new Web Chair.
Duties:
- Work with the Division Chair and Executive Committee to maintain a web "presence" appropriate for our division.
- Update these pages and post new information as it is provided to you by the Executive Committee.
It is actually not that difficult to do and usually not a very time consuming job. However, due to time limitations I stopped trying to keep up with advances in web design and code writing about 5 years ago and my skills are severely dated. Anyone who enjoys "playing" in HTML will likely enjoy this job.
