    Dear colleagues,

Please allow us to share that our new book An Intelligent Career: Taking Ownership of Your Work and Your Life (Oxford University Press) will appear in European book stores at the end of this month. It is already available in the Americas. After the long journey in writing the book, we are pleased that it has already received very positive reviewers: from scholars and practitioners on the book jacket, and subsequently from independent readers, particularly on the Amazon.com and GoodReads websites.

Can you please help us to spread the word about our book to those who might need career advice in these turbulent times? It will be valuable to both younger graduates entering their first jobs, and people much further along in their careers. Our aim is to help readers to look beyond immediate barriers, and appreciate wider opportunities. We use a range of real-life examples of people taking ownership of successful and socially impactful careers. We hope these examples will in turn help readers to craft their career futures.

We see a further opportunity to use our book in the classroom, for undergraduate, graduate or executive students in specialized career courses, or as a contribution to OB, HRM, leadership or related courses with a strong experiential component. Inspection copies are available to colleagues who are interested in adopting our book for teaching. We will be glad to arrange for you to receive one. Just contact any one of us at the email address below.

We are also developing slides, lecture notes and other teaching materials and we will be glad to share those directly with you. Again, you can just contact any one of us directly. You can also visit our web-site at https://www.anintelligentcareer.com

    Warm regards,
