If you think of Age as a control variable in Career studies, think again!

What is known about the  effects of age on entrepreneurship?

We have three main objectives for the Senior Entrepreneurship PDW:

First, we aim to bring together the experts in Senior Entrepreneurship to offer insight into where the research has been and where we need to go. Our session will offer, after a brief welcome and introduction,  key presentations from experts who will highlight the past and present accomplishments, international comparisons, as well as provide insights into what the future holds, regarding Senior Entrepreneurship.

Second, we aim to provide a forum in which individuals with emerging research questions and relevant data can gain feedback from experts about how to develop manuscripts.

Third, we aim to foster increased collaboration between scholars who study Seniors and Entrepreneurship. Thus, after the initial small group discussions, we will enable each small group to present their ideas to the whole group for integration and consolidation.

Our sincere hope is that these proposals, emerging from each small group, will foster a comprehensive research agenda for Senior Entrepreneurship. In this process, we hope to enable researchers with complementary skills and interests to identify one another and set a timeline for future collaboration.

And we hope you can join us!

    Cheers,
    Roxanne Zolin
    Francine Schlosser,
    Paul Steffens,
