    Dear Members,
    The opening of registration for our 73rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management has been announced, and as part of the registration process, each Division/Interest group is given the opportunity to waive the Annual Meeting registration fees for up to five individuals. Below is a bulleted list of what you need to know to take advantage of the attached Registration Waiver.

    These waivers are intended for NON-MEMBERS who would not otherwise attend the Annual Meeting, such as keynote speakers or individuals from other organizations participating in a panel discussion at your Division's or Interest Group's invitation.

    Waivers may NOT be used as an award for Academy members or officers of the Division/Interest Group. This is in keeping with the standing, Academy-wide policy that all members attending the Annual Meeting pay registration fees including the Executive Committee, Board of Governors and all volunteers contributing to the Annual Meeting.

     
    The Registration Waiver entitles the recipient to one complimentary registration for the Annual Meeting, but does not include an AOM membership.

    If you would like to nominate someone who is participating in this years meeting but who is not a member of the AOM, please contact me, Julia Richardson at jrichard@yorku.ca using the subject title 'AoM Waiver'. As indicated above, the Careers Division has just five waivers, hence we will operate on a 'first come first serve' basis, so long as the first five nominees satisfy the above criteria.
