    Assistant/Associate Professor of Management 
    Ithaca College

    The Ithaca College School of Business invites nominations and applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant/Associate Professor of Management to begin August 16, 2016. Rank will be determined by qualifications and experience.

    The successful candidate will conduct and publish high quality scholarly research in a collegial environment, and work with the department chair to select among courses in organizational behavior, leadership, human resource management, organization development and other electives as needed by the college.

    Student advising and service to the Department of Management, School of Business, Ithaca College, and the profession are expected.

    The successful candidate will join a cohort of research-active colleagues in the Department of Management who have published in outlets such as: Strategic Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and Human Resource Management. 

    Job Requirements

    Ph.D. in a management discipline such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or closely related field. ABD candidates at final stages with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may be considered.

    Evidence of having achieved excellence in classroom teaching is expected.

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience engaging students in the learning process through experiential/active learning methods such as collaborative projects, simulations, and/or case analysis.

    An established record or demonstrated potential for publishing high-quality/impactful research is required.

    The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University seeks a tenure-track faculty member in Applied Behavioral Science effective August 1, 2016, pending position approval. 

     

    Description The School offers severalmaster's degree programs and one bachelor's degree program in Southern California - the main campus in Malibu, and at campuses in Encino, Orange County, West Los Angeles and Westlake Village.  Average class size is under twenty-five students.  Opportunities to teach in more than one program and location promote interacting with students from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and years of experience in business.     Qualifications Successful candidates will have a terminal degree in Organizational Behavior or related field such as Human Resources, and will have demonstrated scholarly capabilities, strong experiential teaching ability, and business or managerial experience. Candidates are expected to demonstrate competency in fulfilling their professorial responsibilities within a culturally diverse environment, among faculty, staff, and students.  Positions are ranked from assistant professor to associate professor; rank, salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.  Pepperdine will have representatives at the 2015 Academy of Management Annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada.
