The 2013 EGOS meeting and the standing working group on careers will take place in Montreal from July 4-6, 2013. The theme of the standing working group on careers is 'Rethinking Careers: Theoretical Foundations of Career Studies and their Development'. We invite papers focusing on the conceptual bases of careers as well as empirical papers with an explicit theoretical basis.
Your short paper should comprise 3,000 words (inc. references, all appendices and other material). Submission period for short papers for the 29th EGOS Colloquium 2013 ends on Monday, January 14, 2013. For more information on the standing working group, please look at http://www.egosnet.org/jart/prj3/egos/main.jart?rel=de&reserve-mode=active&content-id=1334581167609&subtheme_id=1319359704647
For the first time, EGOS moves outside of Europe which in particular provides North American scholars with the opportunity to get to know the unique environment of EGOS. Once a paper is accepted, you will have the opportunity of staying with the respective sub-theme for those parts of the conference reserved for paper presentations and dialogue. In this way, you are able to develop a conversation over the three days with the same group of people.
If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of this year's convenors (see below). We are looking forward to welcoming you to EGOS this year.
