The journal of Managerial Psychology is being considered for inclusion
in ISI. We are seeking support of the academic community for inclusion.
It is helpful to get nominations. JMP does publish numerous articles
related to careers and many of our editorial board members have had
leadership roles in the careers division. If anyone could take a few
minutes to go the web site below and nominate the journal, please do so.
Two of the distinct things about the journal are its international focus
    and accepting qualitative case studies.

    Hello:

Can some one explain what is ISI and why the journal is not already
included? I have published in the journal many years ago.

    Peace,GM

ISI is Social science citation index.  If a journal is listed in that, then the status of the journal naturally increases.  Furthermore impact factor is also assessed.  Getting into ISI is a competitive process.  IF a journal is admitted then some other journal must be dropped.  This is the first time the journal has tried to get into ISI.
The more people urge inclusion, the more it is likely to be listed.
