    Diana International Research Conference 2019

Babson College - Wellesley, Mass. USA

    June 2-5, 2019

2019 Conference Theme:  Women's Entrepreneurship: Catalyzing Change and Innovation

The Diana Project™ was established in 1999 by Professors Brush, Carter, Gatewood, Greene, and Hart, in partnership with ESBRI, Stockholm, to provide a platform for research and scholarship focusing on women entrepreneurs and growth. Since then, The Diana Project™ focuses a research agenda on women's entrepreneurship across continents, cultures, and contexts. The Diana International Research Conference brings together more than 100 scholars worldwide with an annual forum to share global research dedicated to asking and answering questions about women entrepreneurs and how they grow their ventures.  The conference has been held at venues around the world; last year's conference took place at Bangkok University, Thailand.

The 2019 Diana International Research Conference will take place June 2nd-June 5th and will be located at Babson College, in Wellesley, MA, USA.  We invite participants to submit manuscripts that relate to this year's theme:  the ways in which women entrepreneurs are catalyzing change and innovation in their leadership, ventures, societies, and economies. The conference will culminate in a Practitioner Day bringing together researchers, practitioners/investors, and women entrepreneurs.

Papers on the following topics are invited for submission for presentation at the conference:

    ·         new models, approaches, and innovations created by women entrepreneurs for their ventures

    ·         new models and innovations in ecosystems sparked by the start-up and expansion of women's entrepreneurship globally

    ·         related to the scope of the Diana Project - gender and entrepreneurship.

The goal of the conference is to expand the dialogue in gender and entrepreneurship.  All units of analysis (individual, team, venture, community, industry, or society) and all approaches and/or methodology are welcome.
