    Dear colleagues and friends,

I hope that you are all doing well and that you and your loved ones are in good health!

With this message, I just want to provide a quick update on the AOM 2020 decision process. As you all know, it is currently somewhat unclear whether the conference will actually take place as originally planned. There will be a board meeting next week to determine the strategy and actions moving forward. We all hope to receive more news on this soon. I sincerely hope that the circumstances will improve and that we can all see each other "in real life" in Vancouver.

With regard to the decision process, I just wanted to share that all decisions have been made and this was finalized last week. We are now waiting for the final "go" from AOM to send out the decisions, but this of course also connects closely to the decisions what will be made about this year's conference. The original plan was for us to send out the decisions today, yet we were notified that this will be delayed. I am sorry for having to keep you waiting longer before I can send the decisions to everyone. I will send the decisions as soon as this is possible.

I wish you all the best in these challenging times, and I do hope that we can see each other again soon!

    Best wishes,
    Jos

    Hi Jos
thanks for sending this out - much appreciated.  Of course this is a very challenging time for everyone and I can guess that you are anxious for the AoM to go ahead given all the work you and the team have done.  The world is indeed a very uncertain place right now - it reminds us how important that human connection is and how friends and family, colleagues and others in our communities are important.

You take care of yourself, you and your lovely family - stay safe.
    Beaming support
