    Dear Careers Division members,

I hope this message finds you well. Results for this year's AOM Careers Division elections are now available.

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for our new Division leaders and representatives, to run for office and to nominate candidates. Every vote matters in yet another very close election. At 27.7% of Division membership voting, we improved last year's participation, so well done. We appreciate your involvement and having such an engaged membership.

Please join me in congratulating these outstanding colleagues and leaders joining our CAR Executive Committee.

Our new 5-year leadership track PDW Chair who will serve the following years as Program Chair, Chair-Elect, Division Chair and Immediate Past Chair, is:

    • Ariane Froidevaux, Associate Professor of Management at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include career transitions, retirement and aging at work, identity and meaning in life. She was Representative-at-large for the Executive Board of the Academy of Management's Careers Division (2017-2020).

Our three new Representatives-at-Large, who will each serve three-year terms are, alphabetically:

    • Roosmarij Clercx, Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp
    • Pamela Suzanne, Professor of Management at the University of San Andrés
    • Xiaoxia Zhu, Assistant Professor of Management at Salisbury University

We very much look forward to all their valuable contributions.

A special thank you also to those who ran for office but were not elected. We very much appreciate your involvement and your willingness to serve. Each of you received significant support from our membership in another very close election. We hope you will run again in the future.

On behalf of the CAR Nominating Committee, we would like to thank everyone involved in nominating, voting, running, supporting, and a big congratulations to the Division's new members of the Executive Committee.

    All the best,

    Serge
