This year, the Careers Division Research Committee has prepared two caucuses for the Academy of Management meeting in Boston. Please consider joining one or both of these sessions focused on addressing how a Careers perspective can be used to address contemporary issues relevant to "putting the worker front and center".
Session 1: "Using a Career Lens to Unify AOM Disciplines"
During this session, attendees will discuss current career issues that are relevant across AOM divisions, with an eye towards stimulating cross-disciplinary collaboration. Topics include: Whether and how employer practices influence diverse employees; the role of social justice issues in the workplace; how different segments of the labor force define success; similarities and differences across employment sectors; and entrepreneurial careers.
Time and Location: Sunday, August 6, 8:00 to 9:30 (EST) at the Hilton Boston Back Bay in Maverick A-session #545
Session 2: "Off-and-On Again: Managing Careers across Remote and In-person Work Locations"
