Rutgers School of Business-Camden seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management (HR/OB) at the Assistant Professor level starting September 2023. To receive full consideration, please submit your materials by October 17, 2022. Position is subject to budget approval.
Candidates are expected to have demonstrated the potential to become outstanding scholars and to lead and sustain an ambitious research program suitable for tenure at a research university. Current members of the HR/OB area include David Dwertmann, Oscar Holmes IV, Kristie McAlpine, Sam Rabinowitz, and Chester Spell. Faculty members publish in outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Psychological Bulletin, Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Annals, and Personnel Psychology among others.
Responsibilities include publishing in scholarly journals within the field of human resources, organizational behavior, or closely related fields, teaching within the field of human resources at the undergraduate and graduate levels and service to the university and academic and external community. Teaching assignments can be on-campus in Camden, NJ as well as online and might require occasional weekend or off-campus teaching at our locations in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Blackwood, NJ, Lincroft, NJ, and/or Princeton, NJ.
Applicants must have earned a PhD in Management or a closely related field by September of 2023. Candidates who are near completion of their PhD and expect to finish by the appointment date are also encouraged to apply.
