On behalf of @Annabelle Hofer:
Dear CAR Division Members,
Did you know that nearly half of our community is from outside the US? We would love to leverage our diverse talents by finding ways to integrate and engage our global membership, as well as to generate and share knowledge across national borders.
To ensure we are successful in these efforts, we are excited to continue the Career Division Regional Ambassador Program!!
The main objectives of the program are to
(a) develop projects across our community that involve, engage, and serve our global membership, and
(b) leverage the knowledge within the division and develop initiatives that contribute to the research, teaching, and service objectives of division members.
There are currently two programs within the initiative: 1. the webinar series and 2. a new program is being developed with a focus on paper/research development.
We welcome your involvement in becoming an Ambassador!! This role has two fundamental aspects: First, local representation of scholars and practitioners in their country or region, and second, collaborating together on initiatives as a community to facilitate the integration of our global membership.
The volunteers, called regional ambassadors, sign up for a commitment of two years, followed by a review of membership. Regional ambassadors have to (1) be a faculty member with a PhD or a graduating PhD candidate and (2) have an interest in career research and scholarship.
Please contact Annabelle Hofer at annabelle.hofer@wiso.uni-koeln.de if you want to support the division and become a regional ambassador! We look forward to hearing from you!
The Value Beyond August Committee of the AOM Careers Division,
@Annabelle Hofer, @Alexander Newman, @Jeffrey Yip, @Noemi Nagy
