The Path to the C-Suite: How Neurodiverse Leaders Can Navigate the Climb to the Executive Level

We invite chapter proposals for an edited volume examining how neurodivergent professionals advance to executive and C-suite roles. While neurodiversity conversations often focus on hiring, this volume centers on leadership progression, structural barriers, and systems shaping executive attainment. The book integrates leadership research, I-O psychology, and organizational systems to provide research-informed, practice-relevant guidance for executives, HR leaders, scholars, and neurodivergent professionals.
Topics may include:

Submission Guidelines
Please submit a proposal that includes:

We are seeking contributors for The Path to the C-Suite: How Neurodiverse Leaders Can Navigate the Climb to the Executive Level (Emerald Publishing).
This edited volume examines how neurodivergent professionals advance into executive leadership and the systems that shape access to the C-suite. While much attention focuses on hiring, this book centers on advancement, influence, and structural pathways to senior leadership.
We welcome research-informed and practice-relevant proposals on topics such as executive mobility, organizational gatekeeping, identity and disclosure, cognitive diversity, networking and sponsorship, and inclusive leadership ecosystems.
