We invite you to join our PDW Workshop on "The role of compensation in attracting, motivating, and retaining talent around the world" (#13761) at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen.
Through roundtable sessions and guided panel discussions, we will examine how compensation systems influence key stages of the employee lifecycle – attraction & selection, motivation, and attrition. Further, we will discuss how these relationships are shaped by broader contextual factors such as the legal environment, labor market conditions, and diversity & ethical concerns. Discussions may explore questions such as:
- How do pay transparency regulations affect talent attraction?
- How can AI technologies be applied responsibly to compensation design to enhance employee motivation and performance?
- How can organizations design and implement pay-for-performance systems to better retain talent in a tight labor market?
Engage with outstanding panelists from around the globe to discuss the challenges and opportunities in compensation research.
