We invite you to participate in our PDW titled "Full-Cycle Research: Leveraging Mixed Methods to Discover and Influence Real-World Phenomena," #18814 scheduled for Sunday, July 27th from 2-4pm CEST at the Bella Center in Hall B-B4-m3.

This PDW aims to illuminate the process, benefits, and challenges of embarking on full cycle research projects by bringing together accomplished scholars who have effectively completed full cycle research, and who bring valuable insights concerning the challenges and opportunities associated with this approach. The session will be divided into two parts. In the first part, Dr. Vergne and Dr. Jazaieri will each give short presentations showing examples of full-cycle research in practice. This will be followed by a panel discussion.

    Panelists:

    ·      Amandine Ody-Brasier, McGill University

    ·      Ashley Hardin, Washington University St. Louis

    ·      Giada Di Stefano, Bocconi University

    ·      Hooria Jazaieri, Santa Clara University

    ·      JP Vergne, UCL

    ·      Thomaz Teodorovicz, Copenhagen Business School

In the second part, we move on to a roundtable discussion with audience members and panelists, with the goal to help participants identify opportunities to build their inductive projects into full-cycle research projects. We ask interested participants to send Lorenzo Lesana (llesana@iese.edu) a brief description of their existing inductive projects and initial ideas for how to proceed into the theory testing stage (max 1 page) by June 30th.

We hope you can join us for this PDW and look forward to your participation!

    Best regards,

PDW Organizers Miya Draga, Megan Gorges, and Lorenzo Lesana
