    Dear friends and colleagues,

It's almost time! In only one week, we will see each other in person or virtually during the second-ever Careers Division Community conference. We hope you are looking forward to it as much as we are!

With this message, we want to share some final details about the conference with you to ensure that you can prepare optimally for it. Here goes:

    -        Based on the feedback from all of you, we updated and finalized the conference booklet. Please find the final version attached to this message. You should be able to find everything you need in it!

    -        Please note that one of the PDW sessions requires preregistration, and another requests completing a brief pre-survey. The details are in the booklet; please check it carefully if you plan to join these PDWs.

    -        For those of you presenting in a paper session, please note that we have added the names of each session's moderator to the program booklet. The moderator will open the session and manage the time. If you have any questions about your specific session, please feel free to contact them.

    -        Because CarCon is all about meaningful discussions, we want to ensure enough time for interaction and Q&A in each session. Therefore, in 4-paper sessions, each presenter will have 12 minutes to present their paper (followed by 8 minutes of Q&A after each presentation). In 5-paper sessions, each presenter will have 10 minutes to present their paper (followed by 6 minutes of Q&A after each presentation).

    -        For those of you joining online, we want to reiterate the flexibility of our format. Each session with at least one online presenter will be streamed live. Additionally, we will livestream additional sessions indicated by our online participants. This means online participants can join any session they want, enhancing their conference experience.

    -        For those of you joining the Thursday evening dinner, please get in touch with Evgenia Lysova (e.lysova@vu.nl) if you have any specific dietary needs. We will try to meet them so everyone can enjoy a nice dinner. And we'll also have a little party afterward, so please bring your best mood and dancing shoes. 😉

Please share this message with your coauthors and anyone else you know who is joining the conference. These messages tend to end up in spam folders, so the more everyone shares them, the better the odds are that we reach everyone we should.

We are looking forward to seeing you all next week. If you are coming to Amsterdam, please have a safe trip!

    All the best,

    The organizing team
