    Dear Colleagues,

We hope this email finds you well!

On behalf of the AOM Careers Division, we are excited to invite you to participate in our 2024 Mentoring Program aimed at developing the academic careers of junior faculty.

The purpose of the mentoring program is to connect mid-career/senior scholars with junior faculty (junior faculty is defined as pre-tenure, no more than 8 years post PhD). Two mentors will be matched with four junior faculty and meet 4 times during the year (between January and December 2024), with specific objectives for each meeting. The program is highly structured and has a defined commitment, clear expectations, and a planned end date.

The mentoring program seeks to facilitate relational mentoring and career conversations between junior and senior scholars, with a shared interest in careers research.  This program aims to provide early career members with an opportunity to get to know and be mentored by established scholars. Our aspiration is to build and continue this tradition of mentoring and dialogue on careers (both research and managing your own career).

Please let us know if you would like to participate in the Mentoring Program, either as a mentee (for junior faculty) or as a mentor (for mid-career and senior faculty) by completing the following form:

For interested junior faculty mentees (Mentees should be pre-tenure and no more than 8 years post-PhD):

For interested senior faculty mentors (Mentors should be tenured as an associate or full professor, have a record of publication in management journals, and have published papers in peer-reviewed journals in the last five years.):

We are looking forward to hearing from you and kicking off this year's mentoring program!

    Best wishes,

Jeff Yip, Becky Paluch, Janine Bosak, and Caitlin Porter
