    Dear colleagues,

We invite you to attend our PDW titled "European Human Resource Management Programme: A multi-stakeholder view on intercultural learning". We aim to share valuable lessons learned from our long-standing collaboration regarding intercultural learning in the field of (European) Human Resources Management (www.ehrm-programme.com). Additionally, we are open to extend our consortium. So, we also and especially welcome prospective new partners from EU.

Call for participants to join PDW 13586 "European Human Resource Management Programme: A multi-stakeholder view on intercultural learning"

Where: Bella Center in Hall A- A1-m3

    When: Friday, Jul 25 2025 3:00PM - 5:00PM CEST (GMT+2/UTC+2)

Abstract: As businesses increasingly operate on a global scale and workforces are becoming more diverse, employees need to develop intercultural competencies to effectively navigate complex workplace interactions. Since global management skills are considered essential for being successful at work, preparing the future workforce early in their education is key to ensure that graduates possess the necessary abilities (such as: global mindset, cross-cultural competence, intercultural sensitivity and cultural intelligence) when entering the global labour market.

The European Human Resource Management (EHRM) programme brings together master students and faculty from leading European business schools and universities. In this PDW, 6 partnering institutions from the EHRM consortium will share lessons learned since the programme's start in 1997. Each presenter will offer insights into intercultural learning from a different stakeholder's perspective. By sharing learnings at various levels in the learning ecosystem, we aim to provide a holistic approach to intercultural learning.

    Best regards,

Maike Andresen, on behalf of the entire consortium Sarah Quataert, Dirk Buyens, Iveta Ludviga, Agita Kalvina, Carolina Serrano-Archimi, Jesús Barrena, Eva Petiz de Freitas Lousã, Roel Schouteten
