The Department of Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is selecting a new cohort of students for its PhD program in Management, starting in Fall, 2024. Department faculty are highly active scholars with a record of helping students succeed in publishing, attain excellent job placement, learn to teach effectively, and build strong networks within relevant academic communities. Students have the opportunity to partner with world-class faculty who study a broad range of topics in organizational behavior and human resource management, including but, not limited to: work stress, employee well-being, career success, leadership, motivation, employee onboarding and adjustment, high performance work teams, personality, and strategic human resource management. Tenure track faculty include John Delery, Rebecca MacGowan, Anne O'Leary-Kelly, Christopher Rosen, Lauren Simon, Adam Stoverink, Michael Wilmot, and Ying Zhang. Doctoral students receive tuition waivers, a graduate stipend (with amounts varying based on credentials), strong support for travel to conferences and for other research purposes, and the services of the College's Behavioral Business Research Lab.
